veto all legislation that may reach his desk from the newly elected Republican congress.

Created by M.M. on November 11, 2014

Our government is broken. The Republican leadership has been misusing protections and rules built into our government to thwart Democracy in the interest of party and at the expense of the American people.

Republicans excessive use of the filibuster as well as their cunning use of procedural rule changes in the House to bypass the will of the people was and is unacceptable.

Many voters turned a blind eye to the Right Wing's actions because at the time it did not affect them adversely. Unfortunately, in order for all Americans to understand that such undemocratic tactics do not benefit our country, Democrats must now do the same.

If Senate Democrats fail to do so, we ask that President Obama vetoes any and all legislation from the 114th Congress that may reach his desk.
