Veto any law that denies those accused of copyright infringement the right to due process and presumption of innocence.

Any legislation relating to copyright infringement must treat it like any other crime by guaranteeing those accused of copyright infringement the Constitutional right to due process and the Universal right of presumption of innocence. In doing so, these requirements will prohibit corporations and individuals from carrying out extrajudicial copyright vigilantism and protect those acting in good faith or under fair use from unfair prosecution. We urge the Obama administration to veto any legislation designed to protect the right to Intellectual Property that does not guarantee the rights of due process and the presumption of innocence.
