Veto any legislation which extends the Bush Tax Cuts on the wealthy and protect the middle class from the AMT.

Created by K.A. on November 09, 2012

The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 was supposed to be a temporary measure. It utilized the budgetary surplus established under the leadership of Pres William Clinton. However, Pres George Bush signed law which extended it through the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003. Ironically, although it is named a "Jobs and Growth" act it has had the opposite effect.

We the People, agree with your Agenda to allow these two tax cuts, known as the "Bush Tax Cuts" to expire as stated at the Democratic Convention by you Mr. President and President Clinton. Further, we ask that middle class families be protected from the AMT (Alternative Minimum Tax). WE gave you a mandate on Nov 6, 2012, Use it to our benefit please. Thank you!
