We urge the president to keep with his campaign promise:
“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”
We, the working class, have already been hit with an increase in payroll taxes. We don't need any new tax burdens placed upon us. A "marketplace fairness act" is anything but fair to the bottom 99% of the people. This new tax benefits the top 1% who have already received 121% of all income gains between 2009 and 2011.Those of us in the bottom 99% got .4% poorer. We daon't need are more taxes placed on our shoulders!
