The Second Amendment to the Constitution was created to prevent tyranny and over-reaching governmental powers. As it is written it ensures the people have the ability to bear arms and defend against tyranny if forced into that situation. This includes and guarantees keeping up with technology in the firearms industry. To ban the weapons Senator Feinstein has listed would directly violate the Second Amendment using tyrannical means to deny the people their right to defend themselves against criminals and an over-reaching tyrannical government. This petition demands the President defend the Constitution as his oath requires by vetoing any bill introduced by Feinstein banning weapons which allow the people to be able to defend themselves using weapons which are technologically current.
