Veto bill HR 1422, made to severely limit the influence of scientists on the EPA board and bring more industry reps in.

Created by M.F. on November 25, 2014

The EPA is designed to protect the environment, the very foundation of our country's well being. We rely on the studies of scientists to find out more information on what effect humanity has on the Earth.

Yet Bill HR 1422 is written specifically to limit the voice for actual scientists on the EPA Advisory Board, while allowing non-scientists - specifically "industry experts" in.

The EPA not only protects our environment for citizens alive today, but for future generations of Americans. To let the voice of industry into the EPA is to remove the only protection our most precious natural resources -clean air and water- have.

HR 1422 was clearly written by representatives who have other interests in mind. Please use your presidential veto power against it.
