Veto the bill restoring funding only to FAA operations

Created by B.E. on April 26, 2013

A bill has passed both the house and senate to restore funding to FAA operations. A delayed flight is inconsequential compared to the effects upon a child who has lost access to head start as a result of the sequester, to the lost income to the families of federal employees, or the negative effects of the sequester on the real economy that will reduce growth and employment opportunities for millions of Americans. Austerity has failed Europe, and the academic underpinnings of austerity have been completely debunked. The administration should not pass up this opportunity or let the visibility of this issue go to waste. They should use this issue to advance real budget reforms that benefit the American and the global economy.
