Veto the CISPA (Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act - H.R. 3523).

Created by S.F. on April 21, 2012

CISPA or the TheCyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (HR 3523) will authorize the sharing and search of personal information such as text messages, emails, locations of access, IP addresses, sites visited and any other unencrypted information users provide that a company may store. Allowing a legal basis for private corporations to share the personal information of their users with each other and government organizations in the interest of protecting "cyber-security" (which is not defined) is a violation of personal freedoms and a threat to every citizens personal security. Allowing information to be shared without a written warrant opens the door for serious crimes and profiling of citizens w/out accountability. Veto the unwarranted search and seizure of personal information.
