The Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act has no accountability for the privacy that is invaded through the policies of the bill. Until, significant amendments are made to the current bill, it cannot be ratified. This includes making companies liable for non-anonymous information that is shared and for not notifying the individuals. The bill is very one-sided towards major online service providers such as Google and Facebook. It makes them immune to any current privacy standards. Although the Department of Homeland Security has to have the ability to track and investigate cyber-security, it cannot and should not be at the price of many American citizens.
