The Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act (S. 754 [114th Congress]) is a bill that provides the means for warrant-less surveillance of United States citizens.
The bill gives private companies free reign over handing data over to government agencies, without adequately protecting against any sort of over-sharing of personal information. Any extra information provided to any government agency can be used for any purpose, which is dangerous for the civil liberties of minority groups.
We, the signers of this petition, want the bill to be vetoed to protect the freedoms of the people.
