Veto the Energy Modernization bill (s.2012) if it includes the sportsmen's SHARE act and de-listing wolves from ESA.

Created by P.R. on September 23, 2016

Hunters and trappers added de-listing the gray wolves in the Great Lakes and Wyoming to the Energy Modernization Act (S.2012) as a rider. For years they have failed to pass stand-alone legislation to remove protection (of the 1964 Wilderness Act) for millions of acres of our pristine lands and wildlife-to allow killing, trapping, shooting with polluting lead shot, federal government –financed shooting ranges, running packs of dogs on deer and all wildlife, building roads and allowing motorized vehicles on public lands to access wildlife for trophy killing.

De-listing wolves from the scientific protection of the Endangered Species Act would NOT allow the ESA to protect wolves now or at any time in the future AND bars the courts from intervening. S.2012 MUST be vetoed if it has this rider.
