We are asking President Obama to not approve the (Murray/Ryan) Federal Budget.
This recent Federal Budget proposal favors the rich by preserving their lucrative tax loopholes and throws the long-term unemployed under the bus by not continuing their benefits. Most of these people have been hardworking individuals and through no fault of their own were laid off during and since the 2009 recession and have not been able to get any employment or any long-term employment.
We MUST stop catering to the rich and take care of the people who need it the most. This is the United States. We can do better than this. We MUST do better than this.
