The FISA Amendments Act is the renewal of a Bush administration warrantless wiretapping program. It unconstitutionally authorizes, warrantless, unregulated, and wholesale surveillance of US citizens.
Congress passed this renewal while rejecting all additional oversight amendments. The irrational fears instilled by 911 should not continue to be a cudgle to beat down our Constitutional rights.
We ask that the president veto this bill.
