Congress wants to ban the sale of Assault weapons such as the AR-15. This is a bad move. You are banning a firearm because someone happened to use it because they killed children. They want to take away our high cap mags because of a lunatic with an AR. This is not right. They would rather crack down on their law abiding citizens such as myself and most of you reading this than deal with the real issue. The real issue is the smuggling and sales of illegal firearms, and the lack of detailed background checks. The only way an event like the one Friday will never happen again is screening people for mental illnesses, cracking down on the smuggling of illegal firearms, and the cracking down of corrupt gun dealers. These issues are the ones that need attention.
