We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Veto HR 3650 and stop the state land grab of our National Forests.

Created by B.C. on June 25, 2016

This bill would turn up to 2 million acres of National Forest land over to states for the purpose of allowing private corporations to come in and cut timber. We should continue to protect our forests for wildlife habitat, for carbon absorption, and for all future generations of people to enjoy.

The GOP-controlled House of Representatives has already passed this bill out of committee as of June 25, 2016. If it comes to your desk Mr. President, please veto it. Thank you.
