H.R. 2406 SHARE ACT is a special interest bill that caters to one percent of trophy hunters. There are forty-one trophy hunters who are given "special exceptions" in this bill, by allowing the importation of trophy polar bears from Canada into the U.S., previously denied by Congress in 2012. This bill will also allow hunting, trapping, and recreational shooting on public lands,as well as the use of lead ammunition and fishing lures which are harmful to the ecosystem and a proven neurotoxin. Under this bill Grey Wolves will no longer be protected by ESA. The Share-Act will prevent USFWS from restricting ivory trade in the U.S..
