It is impossible to find reliable and honest sources of information in the United States' televised media. These are controlled by a limited few and are increasingly partisan. In this bleak landscape, it is difficult to find impartial sources of information. For 17 years, Jon Stewart has been such a source.
Under Jon Stewart, the Daily Show has criticized the travesty that our political process has too often become, and the partisanship of "news" media. Yet it has addressed these disheartening topics with humor and levity.
The Daily Show under Jon Stewart did this country a great service, and we are all better off with him at the helm.
