veto the National Defense Authorization Act 2012 which Allows indefinite military detention of American citizens.

Created by T.I. on November 30, 2011

We urge you to veto the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, specifically the Udall-Webb-Leahy-Feinstein-Durbin-Paul-Wyden Amendment SA 1107 to S.1867 (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:s.1867:). Allowing indefinite military detention of American citizens without being charged, is an unfathomable violation of due process. It must not stand.

You have issued a statement underlining your concerns about this on whitehouse.gov, at http://www.whitehouse.gov/sites/default/files/omb/legislative/sap/112/sa.... Please stand by this statement and veto the Act.
