There is a new Copyright Law that has been drafted over the past year, and it could put many independent artists, musicians, and writers at risk of losing their artwork to thieves. By pressuring people to register their work with commercial registries, all unregistered work is "orphaned," and open for anyone to alter and copyright as a "derivative work," or infringe upon commercially.
