This petition asks President Obama to veto the Online sales tax bill in the event that it does pass votes in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
The bill would impose complicated regulations on retailers and doesn't have enough protections for small businesses.
It will also be impossible to enforce this law when people buy items from other countries. If you visited another state or country would you expect to pay the same sales tax as your home state? No, you wouldn't. This bill is completely unnecessary, over complicated, and unfair to small businesses.
