While we understand that Good Government is about compromise, we have devolved to compromising on disparate issues. The payroll tax cut has indeed helped America financially, but we would rather see the President stand up to absolute absurdity of the Republicans on these types of issues.
Veto any language the forces the Administration to accelerate the study of the Keystone Pipeline. Stand up for majority of the American People and just say No to the few that may benefit from this project. Use this opportunity to re-frame the argument as to what it should be: helping the American People, but not at the expense of yielding even more power to corporations.
