Veto provision, S. 1867 to the National Defense Authorization Act if it passes through Congress.

Created by B.G. on November 30, 2011

Provision, S. 1867 to The National Defense Authorization Act will strip Americans of basic civil liberties. The provision declares America a battlefield, allowing law enforcement duties to be carried out by the military. Americans will be subject to imprisonment by the U.S. military indefinitely and without charge on U.S. soil. So long are the days of innocent until proven guilty. This provision will strip away the freedoms the founding fathers placed to protect the citizens of this country from an abusive government. Even exercising your constitutional right to bear arms would be just cause for investigation and possibly arrest. We must act now before they begin attacking other constitutional freedoms like the right to protest and it is too late to fight for what you believe in.
