veto the renewal National Defense Authorization Act if it contains provision for indefinite detention without charge

Created by D.K. on December 13, 2012

On December 4, 2012, the Senate passed the FY2013 National Defense Authorization Act containing provisions for indefinite detention without charge or trial by the US military that existed in the 2012 version of the law. These provisions are blatantly unconstitutional, and must not be allowed to exist in the law. We call upon the president to veto the 2013 NDAA if the final bill contains these provisions.
