VETO the S. 1867 – National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2012 if the Udall Amendment isn't Implemented!

Created by M.S. on December 01, 2011

The Udall Amendment prevents language in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act which allows for the military's detention of American citizens on American soil if they are a "terrorist suspect."

The Secretary of Defense, the Director of National Intelligence, the Director of the FBI and the head of the Justice Department’s National Security Division have all said that the indefinite detention provisions in the NDAA are harmful and counterproductive!

If this Act makes it to the President's desk without the removal of section 1032 preventing the authorization of detention of American citizens in the US by our military - President Obama should VETO the ACT!
