Let our government know that we support accepting refugees and that we trust the systems that are currently in place. We also want them to focus on scheduling and holding the confirmation hearings on our top security positions which are responsible for counter-terrorism, and have already had appointees.
Let them know that fear is not what determines our laws, but rather love and logic are what will allow us to be a strong country. Our politicians are playing politics because they think we will respond to fear and demagoguery, but that is not what it means to be American.
