We urge the president to veto the suspension of the sequester for air traffic controllers. While the work they do is valuable, it is no way an essential service. Until funding is restored to essential services such as food assistance, health care, and housing assistance, there should be NO suspention of the intolerable budget cuts that have been imposed on the most vulnerable citizens of this country.
