Veto the so-called Farm Bill, which subsidizes agribusiness and cuts off food stamps to the truly needy.

The Farm Bill, stripped of its nutritional assistance program, represents a handout to agribusiness at the expense of children, small farmers, and the environment. Please veto this bill, so that the House of Representatives has time to come up with a bill that will better serve our country and its needs.
The bill, as it stands, is a deeply flawed misappropriation of money to benefit businesses in no need of subsidies, while it ignores those aspects of agriculture that could benefit from development, creating jobs and a future for all. At the same time, it makes the task of conserving farmland and wildlife habitat very much more difficult and expensive. It's a bad bill--please veto it.
