Freedom of speech! Freedom of speech! Freedom of speech! The internet is the only source, which we can confidently say – at least for now – that is “for the people and by the people”. The proposition and passing of these laws will, with no doubt compromise the very basic nature of freedom of speech online. Websites with opposing point of view to that of the mainstream will be in full risk of being shut down. Websites with opposing point of view to that of the mainstream will be in full risk of being shut down.The information on the Web will be untrustable and will lose its neutral and unbiased characteristic. Many websites could be taken down, while only those will survive that pass the government “filter.” This will substantially damage the image of the Internet as a neutral source
