VETO SPENDING RIDERS THAT WOULD UNDERMINE ENDANGERED SPECIES ACT PROTECTIONS

In 1973 Congress passed the Endangered Species Act with bipartisan support , due to many disappearing plant and animal species. Now this important piece of legislation is under attack by both Senate and House versions of FY2016. If the Endangered Species Act is weakened it could limit protection to gray wolves, grizzly bears, blackfooted ferrets, beluga whales, and many other species. We cannot afford for this to happen. The American people are tired of losing their precious wildlife to special interest hunt clubs such as Safari Club Intl., and corrupt politicians. We are tired of our National Parks and public lands being pillaged and destroyed. We the 90% majority of Americans implore you to VETO any riders that would undermine the Endangered Species Act.
