The KXL Transcanada pipeline is a big step in the wrong direction. It transports the dirtiest oil slime, thinned with bitumen to Texas to be exported to China.
From the razing of old Canadian forests to the methane emissions, to the crossing of valuable US water resources - this pipeline is destructive for our country, except for a handful of oil barons.
The attempt by the Transcanada to manipulate the environmental impact report is a further indication that KXL is a danger to our most valuable resources: water and air.
We will not offend our neighbor. In fact, west coast Canadians vetoed the much shorter path to the Pacific.
They don't want it. We don't want it.
The President has the power to veto KXL,no voting needed. President Obama, show us you truly care about our land.
