Vietnamese fish massacre by the Formosa Steel Company and its impacts on our environment and economy. Please save us!!!

Created by N.T. on April 26, 2016

Vietnam lies the multi-billion-dollar steel plant in Ha Tinh province, owned by Taiwan Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation. This company has been using unsafe dumping procedures and causing a collapse in the aquatic life along the coasts of the provinces Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Binh, and Hue and it is still spreading. Thousands of tons of dead fish wash ashore suddenly. As a result, the economical wellbeing of these provinces is damaged. All the related business such as fishermen, fish retailers and restaurant have to stop their business.
Formosa was so arrogant to say that “or choose the factory, or choose the fish". The citizens of Vietnam are worried that the situation will get worse and what if there will be people die. We really need help, and someone to take a stand in our defense.
