Vietnamese – Amerasian Petition

Created by T.H. on February 09, 2012

We, the undersigned, do hereby petition the United States Government to consider the plight of the thousands of Amerasians that continue to suffer extreme deprivation of: opportunity, civil liberty, human rights and hope, deprivations that are not only governmental but also societal in Vietnam. The Amerasian Homecoming Act, which was passed into law in 1987, provides for all Amerasians born between 1962-1976, and their family members, the opportunity to resettle in the United States. However, the annual numbers have been severely delayed in processing. The third generation of Amerasians, who become 21 years of age and older are not allowed to, follow their Amerasian parents to the United States. We bet You and the United States Goverment Please help Them to reunification to these families.
