Saudi Arabia’s discriminatory male guardianship system remains intact despite government pledges to abolish it. Under this system, policies forbid women from obtaining a passport, traveling or education. Worst yet, if a woman is beaten and raped by their husband, there is nothing she can do because it is legal. A stranger can rape a women with impunity because it take 4 wittneses to convict, which often leads to women being put to death because "it's her fault". During a visit to Saudi Arabia, US President Barack Obama bowed and did not discuss human rights issues with Saudi officials. Despite Hillary Clinton's women's rights claims, she received money (millions) from Saudi Arabia's royal family, more than any other government employee. Weapons deals & favors were given in return.
