Visit Denmark

Created by J.M. on January 24, 2013

Close ties between the US and Denmark go as far back as 1792 when Denmark was one of the first countries to recognise the colonies right for independence.

More recently, Denmark has been one of the closest allies of the US during all of the recent military commitments.

Denmark is known for being a leader in green energy and strong advocates of a fair social welfare system - not to mention having the most respected and loved royal house in the world.

There are several American expats living in Denmark who, although love it there, need to see their President.

Therefore, we would like the Obama family to visit Denmark - specifically mid-Jutland - so that we may show our appreciation and congratulate on his recent victory.

We have great food, beer and even a play a mean game of hoops.
