visit the Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge to raise awareness about the endangered bird species living there

Created by K.E. on February 16, 2014

The Hakalau Forest National Wildlife Refuge is home to many amazing bird species, several of which are listed on the Endangered Species List. They include the Hawaii Creeper, 'Akepa, and the 'Akiapola'au. Hawaii is home to roughly 30% of all birds listed on the Endangered Species List. We want President Obama to visit the refuge to raise awareness about the plight of these birds and the other native birds in Hawaii
