USA has established diplomatic relations with Malaysia since Malaysia's independence.
If the President of the United States visits Malaysia, the President can see for himself that Malaysia is a country of various races and religions which is peaceful, stable and practiced democracy. Such a visit will enhance understanding and boost bilateral relations between Malaysia and the US.
With the visit, bilateral ties would remain strong in all aspects like trade, investment, education, science and technology, human resources development and information technology development.
Therefore, as a Malaysian, I hope Mr Obama will consider to visit Malaysia in the near future.
