CISPA, otherwise called Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act is a bill quietly moving through congress. Though it has a hundred sponsors, the public needs to be more aware of this act.
The CISPA act will allow federal employees and other powerful interest groups to demand information on internet users under ISP's under the name of Cyber security, reducing and jeapordizing the freedom and privacy the internet is supposed to provide.
We dismiss this act as another pathetic attempt at passing SOPA under what is simply a new name. CISPA will not fool anyone.
That is why we the people petition and demand the Obama administration vocally oppose this cyber act and take steps to make sure it does not pass congress. If need be, please veto if it goes through.
