voice his disapproval of the Macy's Day Parade's display of drag queens and call on Macy's to apologize to viewers.

Created by J.E. on November 28, 2013

The 2013 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade showcased a performance by the cast of the Broadway play "Kinky Boots". The cast was dressed in full drag and singing lyrics inappropriate for families; the history of this parade's use of men in drag and sexually explicit dance choreography should lead the President to publicly reprimand Macy's for their disregard for the age-appropriateness of the material they present to viewers on Thanksgiving Day. Matt Laurer introduced the performance seeking to "celebrate our differences" in his approval of men in drag and sexually explicit material performed before families and young children. There should be no reason Macy's is unable to find a suitable replacement for these kinds of performances and they should be encouraged to consider their audience.
