Members of the Military have joined to serve their country for various reasons. A lot of the values that are apart of each person’s background whom join the military are now conflicted with the vast changes. These changes include same sex marriage, transgender acceptance and sweeping service specific changes (Uniforms, Structuring). Ideals of the government and the people should not be forced upon those who signed up to protect the country under a set of values that are now conflicted. Military members should now be allowed an option to leave service when major policy changes conflict with personal values.
