Support the Retired Pay Restoration Act Bill # S.234 and help our disabled veterans receive the retirement that they deserve. This bill would permit retired members of the uniformed services who have a service-connected disability rated less than 50% to receive full concurrent receipt of both retired pay and VA compensation, including Chapter 61 disability retirees with less than 20 years of service. It currently has only a 3% chance of making it to the Senate Floor. S. 234 would amend title 10, United States Code, to permit certain retired members of the uniformed services who have a service-connected disability to receive both disability compensation from the Department of Veterans Affairs for their disability and retired pay by reason of their years of military service.
