Should the supercommittee made up of Democrats and Republican come up with a plan to cut federal spending by 1.2 trillion dollars or more whether that be through cuts or tax increases the Obama Administration should vote to pass the committee's recommendations and should urge Congress to pass it as well. In addition to passing the committee's plan Congress should do it in a timely manner that does not degenerate into last minute compromises and media battles that harm the faith of the people in the government and cause credit downgrades.
