This petition is important because with the current election, votes have purportedly been switched to favor one party/candidate or the other. As a citizen of the United States of America, I find this to be shameful and embarrassing on behalf of all Americans.
I propose a new program called the Voters Integrity Act, in which carbon copy paper is used on ALL ballots to provide a physical copy to each voter. Each ballot will be of standard structure, and feature a unique ID code that can be used to track and verify the status of your vote.
Votes can be initially tallied as they are currently, with the only changes being the ability to track your vote, and compare it with the physical copy in hand.
In the case of any doubt of flipped votes, a secondary tally can be made prior to election.
