We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Voting to Set Term Limits for Members of Congress and Senate should be put to a "public" vote. We the People.

Created by J.B. on July 13, 2016

We believe that ALL members of Congress and the SENATE should be limited on their term of office. No more than 4 years for Congress and 4 years for any member of Senate. We, the People, are the ones that vote IN the members of Congress or members of Senate. We, the People, should be allowed to vote on the "terms" that they are allowed to remain in office. We, the People, should be allowed to publicly vote on any such issue as term and salary. No elected official should be allowed to vote/elect their salary/raise.

Once a term is voted on by We, the People, it shall then be passed into law. Also, there cannot be "consecutive" terms. Once a term has been completed, the member cannot run for an "elected" office for another four years. We, the People, have spoken.
