The gender wage gap in our country is an important issue for our country. Women should receive the same amount of pay for the same amount of work. There is no reason for this to be an issue in our country. We should treat women with the same amount of respect as men. Gender should not play a role in the amount someone gets in their paycheck. This is a serious issue that the government needs to acknowledge. Even in sports people try to find a way to give more money to men instead of paying them equally.
