Due to inflation of everything in the US, even the people who are lucky enough to be able to get a job are struggling to get by. In the past 20 years there has been a significant increase on living expenses with less than a dollar increase in wages. The numbers simply don't add up, and hardworking Americans are barely able to afford the most basic necessities such as food and shelter.
My grandparents and every single person I know from their generation were able to live comfortably while having 6 to 7 children. They owned a large home and didn't have any worries about putting food on the table. This was all done with only my grandfather working! Today with both parents working, they would be lucky to make enough money to support one child. It's sickening how deprived the new generation is
