UN weapons inspectors are currently in Syria working to determine if/how chemical weapons were used in the current conflict. In roughly one month, they will likely have analyzed their findings and issued a report.
That report will likely be the best source of information the Obama administration can use to determine what action should be taken in regard to the conflict in Syria.
This petition calls on President Obama and his administration to wait until the UN report is released before taking any military action toward Syria. Doing so will allow for a more informed decision, and hopefully, give the Obama administration time to develop a more diplomatic approach.
The situation in Syria is dire, but we ask that military action only be considered when the best information is available.
