Grandparents are often denied foster care payments for grandchildren they are raising because of bureaucratic requirements that many find too burdensome to complete. Others live in dire poverty while providing for their grandchildren on social security income, because they don't receive foster care payments, due to onerous requirements.
We seek to eliminate all requirements except criminal background checks.
Eliminating bureaucratic requirements would allow more grandparents to care for their grandchildren and children would be better off. There would be positive outcomes and create more foster care homes.
