Recently Corinthian Colleges was shut down due to heavy amounts of fraud. For years students who got suckered into attending Corinthian run schools have complained to Federal and State authorities to be only turned away.
Every student who attended a Corinthian College owned school is a victim of fraud, and as such the Federal Government should waive any and all outstanding student loan debt regardless of how old the loan is.
It makes zero sense to only help out students who recently attended one of these fraudulent schools when every single Corinthian student is a victim.
