The form fees, biometric fees, and filing fees to petition for legal change of status for Americans who marry immigrants or foreign born individuals are unreasonable. Why should American citizens be punished with these hefty fees because they love someone from another country? Legally documented marriage should allow all immigration fees to be waived for the status change of the foreign born spouse.
