EPIC Waiver Now - Equal Protection for Individual Choice in Healthcare:
Whereas, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires individuals and employers to purchase health insurance, and
Whereas, President Barack Obama and supporters of the PPACA claimed it would lower premiums and only cost taxpayers $900 billion over 10 years, and
Whereas, before it has even been fully implemented, premiums have already risen by nearly 50% and expected to go even higher, and that the public cost is already estimated closer to $2.5 trillion, and
Whereas, this represents a burdensome cost on individual Americans and businesses of all sizes, and
Whereas, the mandate has been secretly waived for many companies upon request,
Therefore, we hereby petition for total waiver of the mandate.
